Boost your business using a simple tool.

Canva launched in August of 2016 and has become a top business tool for those using Social Media the right way. I’ve been using Canva for a variety of projects for months now, and I absolutely love the app! Canva has free or really cheap graphics that help you design Instagram pics, Facebook banners, Pinterest pics, blog graphics, info graphics, posters, and more! I’m in no way affiliated with Canva, I just want to share the love.

Here are 5 ways you can use Canva to Boost your business and grow your social media status like the boss you are.

  1. Easily create a brand image.

If you have a business or a side hustle, you have a brand. It’s so very important for your brand to be cohesive. A client or customer should be able to look or read a piece of your advertising (which is basically all social media) and know that it looks like your business. Use Canva to create a streamlined look and you will boost your social media presence. This can be done super cheap if not for free!

  1. Graphics share easily on Instagram.

If you are not on Instagram you are missing out on a huge audience and in-turn, customers/clients. Creating quick quotes or funny phrases is easy on Canva, and can be made to fit the look of your brand. (Not sure if your brand has a look or needs one? Let’s talk!) Utilizing smart hashtags makes you easily searchable and will build your community.

  1. Blog graphics create more interaction with readers.

A clean and light graphic with a smart headline will pull your readers in. (You do have a blog for business, right? If not, let’s talk!) We are so drawn to images that we can’t help but look their way. Research shows you have three seconds to make an impression on your clients. A well-designed image will help you do just that!

  1. Save you time and money.

When was the last time you thought, “Yeah, I’d like to throw thousands of dollars at something I can do myself in 15 mins!” Never? That’s what I thought. DIY’ing your graphics with an app like Canva is perfect for us small business/entrepreneurial types. The templates are there with tons of photo options and fonts. Creating your own custom design is a simple drag and drop.

  1. Change things up!

While you want your brand to be cohesive, you don’t want to bore your clientele with information always being presented in the same plain email. Spruce it up with an awesome email banner or infographic. Your clients and your bank account will thank you!

Visit the app or the website and spend a few minutes playing around. It’s not just great for business, but it’s a lot of fun too! Enjoy!
